Historic Houseparts, located in Rochester, New York, was established in 1980 in response to the abundance of "rehabbing" that had begun in our area, which is the South Wedge neighborhood. The main source of inventory at Houseparts is salvage of pre-1940 buildings that are being demolished in the western New York region. We also buy merchandise from individuals and contractors who are renovating older homes. We offer on-site restoration services for stained and leaded glass, lamps and light fixtures, and hardware.
Historic Houseparts inhabits a three-story brick row house built in 1890, a 14,000 sq ft warehouse, a 2,000 sq. foot warehouse, and now a 1500 sq. foot bathroom showroom (The Period Bath Supply Company); all within walking distance of each other. New items arrive daily, and this website is updated weekly.
In addition to the large selection of salvaged items, Houseparts also offers quality reproduction items, restoration supplies, refinishing products, books, magazines and gift items. We introduced our own exclusive line of restoration Victorian cabinet and door hardware in 2004, HHP Classics, based on antique originals.
