Pair of antique Rustic Distressed Farmhouse Nickel Plated Countertop Wire Soap Dishes

This is a pair of matching antique nickel plated countertop soap dishes. This type of traditional wire soap dish is hard to find compared to the wall mount versions which were much more prevalent. Sinks in the early twentieth century did not have much counter space compared to today's sinks so this item was not often seen. These soap dishes are in good condition for their age however there is wear and oxidation to the nickel plating overall and the steel base metal is showing through in spots and there is evidence of rust in places.
