This is an antique tile-in cup or tumbler holder, new old stock circa 1945. The color is a light pink.
Most bathroom retro-renovations would need at least one tiled-in soap dish to one side of their bathroom sink. The other side would have had a cup or toothbrush holder, or perhaps a second soap dish.
This soap dish is New-Old-Stock and is in very good condition with no plaster on the back and minimal wear typical for a piece of this age.
