This is an antique tile-in soap dish with grab bar, new old stock, made by the Robertson Tile Co. circa 1960. The color is Golden Sparkle, a creamy white with gold dots. Includes the original box, labeled 401 Golden Sparkle M-1787.
Most bathroom retro-renovations would need at least one tiled-in soap dish to one side of their bathroom sink. The other side would have had a cup or toothbrush holder, or perhaps a second soap dish.
This soap dish is New-Old-Stock and is in very good condition with no plaster on the back and minimal wear typical for a piece of this age.
