No matter how you measure, those centers will throw you off. Of 24 tiles purchased, about 20 had different-sized center squares. See photos...

I thought it was a beautiful vintage design for my french-inspired bathroom and love the charcoal and off-white color. The tile has a nice matte finish and the feel of the tile is a smooth sanded finish. Good price for a look-alike cement tile, I recommend this to anyone who wants to 'wow' with an eye-catching design.
